| S has a really strange obsession, he has to have the label cut out of his clothes, he won't wear anything with a label left in it. He also has this weird habit of sucking his clothes (pj top, t-shirt, jumper) when he is anxious. |

| I used to be like that. The sensation on the back of my neck used to irritate me no end. |

| Awww bless him yep thats sensory problems, very typical with kids/adults on the spectrum and T is the same, even socks irritate T and certain materials he freaks at and thats also if other people are wearing them who go near him/touch him! _________________ Northern lass born & bred!

| Yup, it's sensory problems. The touch and feel of it is probably driving him up the wall. |

| You might want to cut the labels out before he can get to them then. I used to rip them out too. |

| Point out to the school that he has sensoryissues that make him hate the feel of the labels, and also for identification purposes, if every other child has labels in their cloths, they will know which are S's because they won't have the labels! |

| I always hide Charlotte's name labels on her school clothes, they are usually either on the bottom hem of her outer clothes as they don't touch her skin or on the clothes she wears next to her skin I usually sew them in on the seam up the side. |

| Good tip! i just used to cut them out and write on the other labels on the sides of the clothing with a permanent clothes marker (the washing instructions labels). _________________ Northern lass born & bred!

| A doesn;t like labels either LOL, he rips off what he can, but he doesn't always notice them, I think it depends on th type of label,, some annoy him no end, other;s don't seem to bother him, I think he doesn't like the look of them more than anything. Often I buy clothes too big, like in sales etc, and leave the tags on, you can guarantee if he looks in his wardrobe and see them, the next morning I will have tiny squares of paper ripped up all over the floor I go through more trousers than anything with A because he spins and spins and spins on one knee until there's gaping holes in his pants, it's really annoying and starting to cost, I thought once he got out of crawling there would be no more holes in knees, how wrong was I! I put a new pair of pants on A for school two weeks ago and already they have a hole in, yet according to the teacher he doesn;t skid across floor or spin The holes must appear by themselves then He even does it in jeans, so its not just thin fabric trousers that it happens to |
