okey i wanted to know if anyone elses kids have pulled their own teeth out. A decided when he got home from school to pull two of his teeth out, luckily they were baby teeth.

However they were just a little bit slack so it would of hurt him when he pulled them and their was loads of blood aswell. hmm

i've pulled a tooth out before, you need to wait till they are really wobbly, and yes they will bleed but if you put a bit of tissue over the hole it will stop, make sure you dampen it before you take the tissue out or it will bleed again.
Hope this of help to you xx

hugging I could be completely wrong but could this be stress? Dd went through a stage of pulling out her hair when she was stressed at school. I think you def need to discuss this with your pead, do u have an appointment soon?

Take care xxx

June is his next appointment however we had a word with his head teacher so she is actually taking his class today so she's gonna have a word with him.

There has been a few changes at school for example his usual Classroom assistant has been put into a different class so now he has a new assistant, He does know her though. Then he has been doing practice SATS aswell the last 2 weeks

I did it when I was younger because they irritated me. I only took out the ones I needed to though.

hug hug Sounds like a stress related thing to me too.
C repeatedly hits herself on the head, but pulling teeth?? Jeez, that has gotta hurt.

I can't offer any advice (but mounds of sympathy) except to talk to dentist and paed...

Really hope this gets sorted fast.

M2C...A also does hit himself on the head not often but still he does it.

*sigh* tried to get hold of the Dentist today and the phone was constantly busy everytime we tried so i'll try again tomorrow. I would of thought it would really hurt aswell but you wouldnt think so going by A's reaction.

I hope it gets sorted fast aswell M2C before he starts pulling out his adult teeth :/

Paul thats really interesting i wonder if maybe they were irritating him although they werent all that slack defo not slack enough to just pull out.

Thanks for all your replies i do appreciate the advice Wink

To be honest I doubt he would be able to pull them out if they were not nearly ready to start coming out anyway. Bless him! They probably feel different & like Paul said started to irritate him. Good luck! Maybe you have a future dentist on your hands!! xx

oh I forgot about this well anyways he went to the dentist. Funnily enough his appointment was at 2:30 (thats one of the jokes he's been telling,What time do you go to the dentist,,,,two thirty lol). So anyways he found the time for his own appointment really funny lol.

Anyways the dentist said no damage has been done and told him not to pull anymore out until they get really slack. Wink

The nice receptionist even gave him his next appointment for a check up at 2:30 aswell looooooool
